Marvin Erhardt Pauly age 92 of Moltke Township died peacefully surrounded by his family at home on Sunday, March 8, 2026.

He was born June 3, 1933 in Moltke Township to Erhardt and Elizabeth (Schaedig) Pauly.

Marvin served in the United States Army from 1954 through 1956. On June 20, 1959, he married Joyce Orcutt at Immanuel Lutheran Church. He was a life-long member of Immanuel Lutheran Church and a member of the Farm Bureau. Marvin was a farmer who loved driving tractor, gardening and growing beautiful roses.

He is survived by two sons, Allen (Kathy) Pauly of Au Gres and Scott (Karen Spens) Pauly of Moltke Township; son-in-law, Jeff Karsten of Moltke Township; seven grandchildren, Amanda (Thomas) Theodoran, Zachary Karsten, Elizabeth (Bradley) Denslow, Rebekah (David) Cramer, Cora (Levi) Floyd, Hope (David Jakpor) Pauly and Ericka (Dominic) Tringali; six great grandchildren, Amber Karsten, Calliope Theodoran, Jeremiah Denslow, Micah Denslow, Landon Floyd and Greta Cramer; two brothers, Harold Pauly of Grand Rapids and Warren (Deborah) Pauly of Presque Isle.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Joyce; his daughter, Kathy Karsten; a grandson, Jordan Karsten; a sister, Ruby (Raymond) Altman; and a sister-in-law, Bonnie Pauly.

Friends may visit at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Moltke Township on Friday, March 13 from 10:30 a.m. through time of his memorial service at 11:30 a.m. with Pastor Joseph Bangert officiating.

Inurnment will take place at Immanuel Lutheran Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be given to Immanuel Lutheran Church or McLaren Hospice.
