Eleanor Fleming

She was born in Hawks on April 25, 1938 to Henry and Edna (Claus) Grulke, and was raised with five sisters and six brothers.

Eleanor worked at Calcite for six years after which she devoted her life to raising a family. She enjoyed playing softball and bowling.

Eleanor met the love of her life, Harry Fleming and they were married for 61 years.

Surviving are her husband Harry, two children; David (Cari) of Clarkston, MI and Mark (Debbie) of West Bend, WI, five grandchildren; Joshua,

Samantha (Chas) Nicolet, Daniel (Kelci), Cameron, Cody, and one great grandchild Andrew.

Friends may visit at the Beck Funeral Home on Friday, March 20 from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. with a prayer service at 7 p.m. Visitation will resume Saturday at St. John’s Lutheran Church at 10 a.m. up until the time of her funeral at 11 a.m. with Pastor Joseph Bangert officiating.

Memorials may be given to St. John Lutheran Church in Rogers City.
