Shirley Marie Standen

Shirley Marie LaBonte was born in Alpena to the late Felix and Annabelle (Aube) LaBonte. On September 9, 1961, she married Lawrence Standen. He preceded her in death on July 30, 2017. She had been an active member of St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church.

Surviving are her daughter, Kristine Standen; 2 grandchildren, Kenneth (April) Wyers, Melissa (Shane) Webster; granddaughter-in-law, Ashley Wyers; 4 great grandchildren, Kinsley, Paisley, Joey, Sawyer; 3 siblings, Mary Shiemke, Jane O’Niel, Joyce Higgs; several nieces and nephews.

Shirley was preceded in death by grandson, Charles Wyers; 2 siblings, Donald LaBonte and Margaret Reynolds.

Visitation will take place at the Bannan Funeral Home on Monday from 2-8 p.m. with a parish prayer service at 7 p.m. Visitation will continue at St. Catherine Catholic Church on Tuesday, from 10 a.m. until the time of the Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. with Rev. Gerald Okoli officiating.

Interment: St. Rose Cemetery
