Naomi Faith Kirschner, 82, of Alpena, died Wednesday, Jan. 21, 2026, at Lincoln Haven.

Naomi Faith Hutchison was born April 19, 1943, in Warren, Ohio to the late Henry and Lillian (Mosses) Hutchison. On April 3, 1965, she married Alden Kenneth Kirschner, who preceded her in death on Aug. 7, 2025. Naomi worked as a secretary for the State of Michigan. After retirement, Naomi stayed busy taking care of her husband, working as secretary at Word of Life Baptist Church and volunteering for the U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary. She enjoyed her flowers, cross stitching, and loved capturing precious memories while scrapbooking. Most of all Naomi will be remembered as a faithful and loving wife, mother, and grandmother.

Surviving are her two children, Wendy (Michael) Van Voorhis, Bruce (Barbie Desmet) Kirschner; five grandchildren, Kaitlin Van Voorhis, Lauren Van Voorhis, Dylan Kirschner, Cole Kirschner, Cody Kirschner; fur baby, Bennett; four siblings, David (Deb) Hutchison, Ruth (Steve) Tessman, Judy Creary, Rev. Thomas (Amy) Hutchison; many nieces and nephews.

Naomi was preceded in death by her brother-in-law, Leo Creary and sister-in-law, Janet Hutchison.

Memorial Visitation will take place Friday, Feb. 6, 2026, at the Bannan Funeral Home from 2 to 8 p.m. and continue at Word of Life Baptist Church on Saturday, Feb. 7, 2026, from 10 a.m. until the meemorial service at 11 a.m. with Rev. Scott Joy officiating.
