Kirk Morgan

Kirk was born in Alpena on Oct. 30, 1972, to Russell and Dolores (Gallagher) Morgan. He enjoyed cooking, hunting, being outdoors, a love for dogs and was a huge MSU fan. Kirk was a member of the Alpena Moose Lodge and the local pool league.

Surviving are his son, Tyler; grandson, River; his father, Russell; four siblings, Kevin (Sue) Morgan, Karl (Shannon) Morgan, Kory (Jasma) Morgan, Kristy (Scott) Nowicki; nieces and nephews, Andrea (Mike), Joshua, Adam, Patrick, Marissa, Mackenzie, Kaydee; great nephew, Dylan; several aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Kirk was preceded in death by his mother, Dolores.

Visitation will take place at the Bannan Funeral Home on Thursday, Feb. 12, 2026, from noon until the time of the funeral service at 2 p.m. with Deacon Michael Roy officiant. A celebration of Kirk’s life will also take place later this summer.
