Mary Smith

Mary Lou Kasubowski was born in Alpena on July 4, 1943 to the late Stanley and Agnes (Kasubowski) Kasubowski. She married William Smith on Jan. 9, 1970. He preceded her in death on Feb. 8, 2020. She worked as a bartender for many years at the VFW Alpena Post 2496 and enjoyed bowling.

Surviving are three sons, James (Joy) Lipski, Michael Lipski, Gerald (Donna) Lipski and a brother, Carl (Cathy) Kasubowski, several nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Smith was preceded in death by two brothers, Richard Kasubowski and Robert Kasubowski.

Cremation arrangements have been handled by the Bannan Funeral Home.
