Karianne Seidel

Karianne Joy Seidel, age 47, of East Tawas, died and was peacefully called home to be with the Lord on Monday, Jan. 5, 2026.

Born on Aug. 1, 1978, in Bay City, Kari was the beloved daughter of Marion (Richard) Webber and Ken (Johanna) Seidel. She was shaped by faith, family, and a deep trust in God.

A faithful servant of Christ, Kari lived a life marked by love, kindness, generosity, and devotion. She was a member of the House of Faith Church, where she served in ministries, teaching, volunteering, and fellowship. She found joy in family, prayer, worship, scripture, helping others, crafts, exercise, and cooking. She was known for her warm smile, beautiful voice, and steadfast beliefs.

Kari is lovingly remembered by her son Job Luke Kakish, her brother Tony Bell and his wife Jessica Smith, her sister Nicole Foster, her nephews Alex Bell, Owen King, Benjamin King, and Ethan Foster and her niece, Violet Bell. Kari enjoyed spending time with her significant other, Donny O’Conner, and their dog Buddy. She was preceded in death by both paternal and maternal grandparents and her Uncle Keith whom she now joins in eternal rest.

Visitation will be held on Friday, Jan. 16, 2026, from 10 a.m. to noon, service begins promptly at noon at Buresh Funeral Home in Tawas City, with her pastor Bruce Shields officiating.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Friends Together (Tawas) to help support others in their battle against cancer.

Though we grieve, we do so with hope, knowing that to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord.
