Kevin Howard

Kevin possessed a wide range of mechanical and welding skills, blended with a passion for cars and trucks, which propelled him into many adventures and gifted him with countless stories to share. A simple countryman at heart, he took pride in being a member of the Gold Panning Association, enjoying camping, fishing, and relishing the peacefulness of nature. His best stories were often told under a tree, accompanied by a pocketknife and an apple.

He is survived by his two daughters, Katelyn (Max Norfolk) Cramer and Karla Howard; their mother, Brenda Tessmer; his granddaughter, Beretta Borring; his beloved sister, Colleen Lewis; and his brother, Doug (Patty) Howard, along with many nieces and nephews. Kevin was preceded in death by his parents, Fred and Rena Howard; his brother, Leo (Cindy) Howard; and his brother-in-law, Bill Lewis.

Kevin will be remembered for his warmth, his genuine nature, and his remarkable knack for storytelling. He never felt the need to impress anyone, valuing authenticity and sincerity above all else. His legacy will live on through the stories he leaves behind, and the cherished memories held by all who knew him.

In accordance with Kevin’s wishes, he has been taken for cremation with no services planned at this time. Close family and friends will be informed of his final arrangements and where to gather to honor his memory. McWilliams Funeral Home has assisted the family.
