Lyla Wyman

Lyla Elsie Yuker was born in Alpena on Nov. 16, 1932, to the late John and Elsie (Matthews) Yuker. On Jan. 16, 1953, she married Clifford Wyman. He preceded her in death on Aug. 11, 2008. She was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church – Alpena.

Surviving are two children, Marsha (John) Ruell, Glenn (Dawn) Wyman; seven grandchildren; six great grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Wyman was preceded in death by a son, Kevin; grandson, Brandon; siblings, Elaine Findley, Marlene Bertnard, Lester Yuker, Helen Gannon, Donald Yuker, Ester Peplinski, Cecil Yuchasz, Kathryn Jacobs, Bettyann Kollin, and Albert Yuker.

Visitation will take place at the Bannan Funeral Home on Tuesday, Nov. 25, 2025, from 10 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at noon with Rev. John Shipman officiating.

Interment: Pilgrims Rest Cemetery
