Joseph William Wilcox Jr.

Joseph was born Oct. 25, 1944, in Fresno, California to the late Joseph and Ida (Spurlock) Wilcox. On Oct. 24, 1964, he married Diana Baumgartel. Joseph retired from Ford Motor Company in 2001. He was a football coach for 18 years, coaching at St. Michael Catholic School and Detroit Catholic Central, retiring because of traveling with Ford Motor. Joseph enjoyed golfing, hunting, and being “Chef Joe”.

Surviving are his wife, Diana; daughter, Ann Marie (Andrew) Witkowski; three grandchildren, John Fournier, Ashley (Trevor) Hill, Grace Witkowski; one great grandchild, Lainey; siblings, James (Cheryl) Wilcox, Janice (Ron) Moler; and sister-in-law, Janice Wilcox.

Joseph was preceded in death by his brother, John Wilcox.

A celebration of life will take place Saturday, Nov. 22 from 12 to 3 p.m. at Pappy’s Pub. Arrangements have been made by the Bannan Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice of Michigan or Friends Together.
