James Fleck

James Kenneth Fleck, father, brother and USN veteran died on Sept. 30, 2025. Born June 12, 1944. Born to Allen Charles Fleck and Melba Bernice Kinsel he was 1 of 12 siblings-Dan, Tom, Ray, Allen, Joe, Ruby, Beverly, Marva, Shirley, Sharon and Linda. He is survived by his two children James Kenneth Fleck, Esq. and Dr. Lisa Louise Uhlir and his sole grandchild Ayden Spencer Uhlir. James was a natural athlete with a particular fondness for golf. Born in Flint, like most Michiganders he was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed hunting and fishing. He was an extrovert who kept many a friend entertained with his exuberant tales. He was always ready to lend a hand to a friend or stranger. James’ loving son made it possible for him to live the later decades of his life exactly as he chose. He remarked to a close friend and former brother-in-law shortly before his death that he had not a single regret and had been lucky in his life.
