Linda Lee Canfield

Linda Lee Buczkowski was born in Alpena on September 9, 1950, to the late Clemens and Eva (McCoombs) Buczkowski and married James Barry Canfield on April 14, 1979. Linda worked and later retired as a registered nurse from MyMichigan Medical Center – Alpena after 40 plus years of service. Linda was an active member of the Nurse’s Honor Guard, the hospital’s Anchor Society, Alpena County Youth and Recreation Board, and Alpena Farmer’s Market.

Surviving are her husband Barry; 3 children, John (Dodie) Canfield, Susan (Jeff) Noom, Chantel (Jon) Bullis; 8 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; 2 sisters, Mary Sue (Gary) Ristau, Brenda Ross; and a niece, Amanda.

Linda was preceded in death by a sister, Marlene (Bud) Mulder.

Visitation will take place at the Bannan Funeral Home on Wednesday, from 12 p.m. until the Nurse’s Honor Guard and the funeral service at 5 p.m. with Rev. Martha Hartman-Stuart officiating.
