Lela Belle Wolgast

She is survived by her brother, Robert Snyder, children, Dan Wolgast, Jane Avni, Todd Wolgast, Teresa Lossing, Kellie Conatser, 14 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren and 10 great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Herbert Wolgast, brother, Roscoe (John) Zolman, sisters, Lavina (Tootie) Schultz and Alice Johns, and daughter, Linda Pallett.

Lela was born on May 5, 1928 in Pontiac, Michigan, and during her lifetime resided in Lapeer, MI, Ladysmith, WI, and Portland, OR, before moving to Dallas, TX, in 2011.

Lela was known for her fun-loving nature and good sense of humor. She will be remembered as a loving mother and a caring soul who found beauty in both the extraordinary and the everyday. May her memory bring comfort to those who knew and loved her.

A Celebration of Life will be held on August 31, 2025 at the home of Kellie and Chris Conatser: 17421 Marianne Circle, Dallas, Texas.
