Carol Buza

She was born in Alpena to Bernard and Blanche (Klemens) Peplinski on April 11, 1939.

Carol graduated from Catholic Central High School in 1957. On October 10, 1964 she married Lester Buza at St. Bernard Catholic Church in Alpena.

She was a member of the Daughters of Isabella and St. Ignatius Catholic Church and its prayer group. Carol enjoyed sewing, crocheting and gardening.

She is survived by her husband, Lester; son, Lester II (Rebecca) Buza of Grand Lake; daughter, Lisa (Keith) Capanda of Romeo; five grandchildren, Josh Buza, Luke Buza, Isabella Capanda, Gabriella Capanda and Garrett Capanda; and a sister, Rose (Jerome) Langlois.

Carol was preceded in death by a daughter, Lynn; and a sister, Patricia (Dr. Gerald) Skiba.

Friends may visit at St. Ignatius Catholic Church on Friday, July 25th from 10 a.m. through time of her memorial Mass with Fr. Don Geyman officiating.

Inurnment will follow at Mt. Calvary Catholic Cemetery.

Memorials may be given to St. Ignatius Catholic School’s Angel Fund in memory of Carol Buza.
