Wilmer Clarence Timm

Wilmer Clarence Timm was born in Alpena on August 5, 1932, to the late Ferdinand and Lenna (Wilke) Timm. He served in the United States Army. Wilmer worked and retired from Abitibi of service and enjoyed fishing, hunting but spending time with his family was most important.

Surviving are five children, Dorien (Terry) Noble, Steve (Valerie) Timm, Martin Timm, Samuel (Annette) Timm, Angela Thomas; 24 grandchildren; 31 great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; sister, Helen Hemmingson; several nieces and nephews.

Mr. Timm was preceded in death by his wives, Betty in 1991, Elaine in 2008; two children, Peggy Mathews, Benjamin Timm; five siblings, Emma Krentz, Ewald Timm, Evelyn Christianson, Adaline Thiem and Myra Medor.

Memorial visitation will take place at the Bannan Funeral Home on Wednesday, July 2, 2025, from 10 a.m. until the time of the memorial service at 12 p.m., with Rev. Giovanna Meek officiating followed by military honors accorded him by VFW Alpena Post 2496.
