FREDERIC WILLIAM PORRETT

Frederic was born in St. Clair Shores on February 7, 1943, to the late Frederic and Erma (Bilbrey) Porrett. He served in the United States Air Force and retired from Ford Motor Company after 30 years of service. He was a member of the Alpena Sportsmen’s Club, enjoyed hunting, fishing and being outdoors. On July 2, 1983, he married Barbara Brennan.

Surviving are his wife, Barbara; daughter, Michelle Applebey; three grandsons, Reid, Rowan and Hollis.

Visitation will take place on Friday, June 6, 2025, at St. Anne Church of All Saints Parish from 10 a.m. until the time of the Mass of Christian Burial at noon with the Rev. Emmanuel Finbarr officiating. Arrangements are being handled by the Bannan Funeral Home.
