Elizabeth Mae Hull

Elizabeth Mae Mellen was born in Alpena to the Harlow and Elizabeth (Thomson) Mellen on May 20, 1933. Mae married Robert Hull on November 4, 1952. She was a member of the Long Rapids Congregational Church and enjoyed spending time and helping raise three generations of her family.

Surviving are her husband of 72 years, Bob; 3 children, David (Jeanine) Hull, Sheree (Bill) Hepburn, Laurie (Bruce) Timm; 3 grandchildren, Kelly (Greg) Rice, Kimberly (Jason) Weiland, Danielle Timm; 2 great-grandchildren, Gretchen Weiland, Robbie Weiland; brother, Jerry Mellen; and brother-in-law, Ray Runion.

Mrs. Hull was preceded in death by granddaughter, Stephanie Hull; sister, Jean Runion and sister-in-law, Ethel Mellen.

A celebration of Mae’s life will take place on Thursday, June 12, 2025, at the Long Rapids Congregational Church from 4-7 p.m. Cremation arrangements are being handled by the Bannan Funeral Home.
