Alexandros ‘Aleko’ Hantzis

Alexandros was born July 10, 1997, in Alpena to Alexandros and Melissa (Fortner) Hantzis. Aleko graduated from Alpena High School in the Class of 2015. Aleko enjoyed woodworking, fishing, and always making people laugh. He will be remembered by all that knew him as caring, fun and hardworking person.

Surviving are his mother, Melissa; three siblings, Andreas, Dimitrios, Eleni; grandmother, Marilyn Fortner; numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Aleko was preceded in death by his father, Alexandros.

Visitation will take place Monday at Bannan Funeral Home from 10 a.m. until the funeral service at 12 p.m. with Fr. Ciprian Streza officiating.

Interment: Evergreen Cemetery
