HELEN PATRICIA KELLER

Helen Patricia Keller, 103, of Hubbard Lake, passed away Tuesday, Jan. 21, 2025, at MyMichigan Medical Center – Alpena. She was lovingly known as Grandma by staff and residents of Medilodge of Alpena.

Helen Patricia Enos was born Aug. 5, 1921, in Cheboygan, Michigan to the late William and Julia (Couture) Enos. She married James Keller on Jan. 6, 1950. He preceded her in death on Jan. 28, 1996. Helen was an active member of Hope Lutheran Church.

Surviving are her three daughters, Telecia Evans, Diane (Wayne) Golder, Brenda Craft; nine grandchildren, Annette Loomis, James Evans, Mike Evans, Matthew (Melissa) Golder, Angela (Keith) Ballmer, Jason Golder, Christina Craft, Amanda Gaddy, Michael Gaddy; great grandchildren, Kyle Loomis, Kali Golder, Kaci Golder, Jesse Ballmer, Austin Ballmer, Jameson Evans, Alex Evans, Samuel Evans; one great-great grandchild, Fynn Loomis; sister, Sophia Alexandria “Jenny” Gordon; sisters-in-law, Margaret Enos, and Mary Ellen Enos.

Helen was preceded in death by her son-in-law, William Craft; granddaughter, MayLynn Craft; and siblings, Marie Seneski, Robert (Fredrick “Freddy” Enos, Bertha Enos, Marion Rosa, Marguerite Rose “Rosie” Rapson, Anna Palmer, William “Benny” Enos, Victor Enos, and Martha Limbaugh.

Memorial visitation will take place Friday, May 16, 2025, at Hope Lutheran Church from 10 a.m. until the memorial service at noon with the Rev. Dr. Bryan R. Salminen officiating. Cremation arrangements have been handled by the Bannan Funeral Home.
