STASIA HUBERT

STASIA HUBERT
April 4, 2025
Stasia (Taraskiewicz) Hubert was welcomed home by her Heavenly Father on April 4, 2025. Stasia would have been 96 on April 27, 2025. While residing at Turning Brook in Alpena, MI.. She was blessed to have two of her daughters comforting her on her journey home. She selflessly donated her body to the University of Michigan to further advance medical research.
One of her greatest attributes was her strong faith. Stasia attended mass whenever she could, had a strong devotion to the Blessed Virgin Mary and believed strongly in the power of prayer. She taught all of her children to be caring, empathetic, loving and compassionate individuals. Stasia had many talents; from quilting, sewing, gardening, singing, playing the piano, storytelling and jokes. She was honored to be asked to display her quilts at the Jesse Besser Museum. Stasia made memories traveling extensively.
Her memory will live on in the stories she passed down to all her grandkids. Ask any of them as they would love to share their favorites. Stasia lived life well.
Surviving are her children Andrew (Kathleen) Hubert, Mary Louise (Howard) Hubbard, Marie Lucy (Mark) Friske, Patrick (Katherine) Hubert, John (Antonia Redwine) Hubert, Mary Frances (John Guidobono) LaPres 16 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren, and eight great-great-grandchildren, sister Mary Cook and many nieces and nephews.
