DIANE JANICE EVANS

Diane Janice Evans, 75, of Tawas City, passed away Thursday, March 27, 2025, at Lakeview Manor.

Diane Janice McConnell was born June 25, 1949, in Alpena to the late John and Ethelene (Blackwell) McConnell. Diane was a past member of Thunder Bay Art Council, Lighthouse Festival, and enjoyed photography. She enjoyed baking with her grandchildren and nieces and nephews.

Surviving are her son, Nathan (Elissa) Evans; three grandchildren, Zackary Reynolds, Owen Evans, Parker Evans; siblings Michael (Mary Ann) McConnell, John McConnell, Glenn (Denise) McConnell, Sally (Karl) Decker; and several nieces and nephews.

Diane was preceded in death by her brother, Kevin McConnell.

Visitation will take place on Monday at Bannan Funeral Home from 11 a.m. until the funeral service at 1 p.m. with the Rev. James Erickson officiating.

Interment: Sanborn Township Cemetery
