YVONNE EVELYN DeROSIA

Yvonne Evelyn DeRosia, 89, of Alpena, passed away Sunday, Dec. 8, 2024, at her home.

Yvonne Evelyn Tripp was born in Hillman on Oct. 23, 1935, to the late Emerson and Alice (McMurphy) Tripp. On Sept. 6, 1969, she married Gary DeRosia. He preceded her in death on March 24, 2024. She was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church. She worked as a beautician for 25 years, enjoyed volunteering at the Friendship Room, ringing the bell for the Salvation Army, and playing cards.

Surviving are her five children, Linda (Dale) Dubie, Robert Swift, Larry (Cindy) Swift, Jeffery (Lina) Swift, Dennis (Laura) Swift; 17 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; several nieces and nephews.

Gary was preceded in death by a grandson, Christopher Swift; three siblings, Helen Keyworth, Garnet Tripp, and Eleonore Lutze.

Visitation will take place at the Bannan Funeral Home on Friday, Dec. 13, 2024, from 11 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 1 p.m. with the Rev. John Shipman officiating.
