WILLIAM ROY BENTLEY

William “Bill” Roy Bentley, 63, passed away on Nov. 24, 2024, in Birmingham, Alabama, while spending cherished time with his son, Conor, and his granddog, Mac.

Born on May 2, 1961, in Alpena, Michigan, Bill was a lifelong Packers fan with a passion for gardening, classic rock, and Detroit Tigers baseball. He had a special love for creatures of the canine variety and had a knack for making all dogs feel loved and cherished.

Preceded in death by his parents, Roy and Agnes Bentley, and his niece, Sophia, Bill is survived by his children, Kady and Conor Bentley; granddaughters, Lucy and Owen; siblings Tanya (Lance) Abbert and Tom (Robin) Bentley; best friend, Yvette Traviss; and many nieces and nephews.
