BRUCE WESLEY EDMONDS

Bruce Wesley Edmonds, 79, of Posen, passed away Wednesday, Oct. 30, 2024, at MyMichigan Medical Center – Midland.

Bruce was born May 3, 1945, in Alpena, to the late John and Helen (Cripps) Edmonds. He served in the United States Navy. On Aug. 21, 1965, he married Joan Himes. She preceded him in death on Jan. 18, 2019. Bruce was an avid bowler, fisherman, and hunter. He retired from Decorative Panels International, Inc. (DPI) after 40-plus years.

Surviving are his three children, Amy (Duane Peevey) Cramer, Bonnie (Dan) Fransee, Darwin (Lynn) Edmonds; five grandchildren, Aaron (Jessa) Kihn, Blaise Kihn, Cathleen (Taylor Pilarski) Cramer, Anthony Cramer, Tommy (Heather) King; four great-grandchildren, Gemma and Wyatt Kihn, Xander and Cameron Cramer; special friend, Karen Eller; brother, Gary (Norma) Edmonds; sisters, Donna (Mike) O’Grady, Julie Edmonds; two sisters-in-law, Jane Edmonds and Diane Edmonds.

Bruce was preceded in death by his granddaughter, Sarah Cramer; two brothers, Howard Edmonds and Milton Edmonds.

Memorial visitation will take place Tuesday at Bannan Funeral Home from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. followed by military honors accorded him by Alpena VFW Post 2496.
