AUDREY LEE KOOPIKKA

Audrey Lee Koopikka, 75, of Presque Isle, passed away Oct. 18, 2024, at My Michigan Medical Center of Alpena. She was born on July 23, 1949, to Raymond and Patricia (Fralick) Robinette. On Feb. 13, 1982, she married Dennis Koopikka Sr. Her best memories were of their summers fishing on their boat, The Whitmore Laker. Audrey was a hardworking do-it-yourselfer who wasn’t afraid to take on any household or outdoor repair or project. She worked extensively and passionately to trace her family’s genealogy all the way back to the early 1500s. Audrey was a kind, smart, generous and courageous woman with a great sense of humor. She will be missed by many. In accordance with her wishes, she has been cremated and a private memorial will be held at a later date. McWilliams Funeral Home has assisted the family.
