ANN MARIE KEEN

Ann Marie Keen, 94, of Alpena passed away Sunday, Oct. 20, 2024, at Medilodge of Alpena with her family at her side.

Ann Marie Karaim was born Aug. 30, 1930, in Rogers City, to the late Alexander and Emily (Cihocki) Karaim. On Oct. 27, 1951, she married Edward Keen. He preceded her in death on Dec. 9, 1982. Ann was a member of All Saints Parish (St. Mary) and the Rosary Society.

Surviving are her three children, Barbara Wiedbrauk, Mary Zeller, Michael (Donna) Keen; 10 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and brother, John Karaim.

Ann was preceded in death by her daughter, Janet Walmsley; brother, Elmer Karaim; and son-in-law, Michael Wiedbrauk.

Visitation will take place Thursday at Bannan Funeral Home from 4 to 8 p.m. with a parish prayer service at 7 p.m. Visitation will continue Friday at St. Mary Church of All Saints Parish from 10 a.m. until the Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Aloysius Okpala officiating.
