LAVONA ELENORE AUBE

Lavona Elenore Aube, 91, of Ossineke, passed away Sunday, Sept. 8, 2024, at MyMichigan Medical Center – Alpena.

Lavona Elenore Wirgau was born in Hawks on April 28, 1933, to the late Max and Lorene (Kortman) Wirgau. On Feb. 23, 1952, she married Lawrence Aube. He preceded her on March 17, 2019. She was a member of St. Catherine Catholic Church and enjoyed gardening and tending to her flowers.

Surviving are eight children, David Aube, Connie (Gary) Stephen, Alan (Kelly Howay) Aube, Val (Kim) Crevier, Wayne (Laurie) Aube, Jan (Herb) Schiller, Dean (Teri) Aube, Julie (Mick) Schultz; 16 grandchildren, and 19 great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Aube was preceded in death by a son, Larry; granddaughter, Jessica Tessmer; four siblings, Maxine Pilarski, Charles Wirgau, Harlan Wirgau and Gordon Wirgau.

Memorial visitation will take place at the Bannan Funeral Home on Thursday from 2 p.m. until the time of the memorial service at 4 p.m. with Deacon Michael Roy officiating.
