IVAN ARNOLD EARLEY

Ivan Arnold Earley, 91, of Greenbush, passed away Saturday, Aug. 31, 2024, at Turning Brook.

Ivan was born in Wyandotte on Oct. 29, 1932, to the late Ernest and Cora (Arnold) Earley. He served in the United States Navy during the Korean War. On May 4, 1957, he married Joyce Harwood. She preceded him in death on April 28, 2007. Ivan worked and retired from Detroit Edison after 40 years of employment. He was a member of the Ossineke United Methodist Church, the Masonic Lodge, and Lions Club.

Surviving are two children, Carolyn (Bruce) Heath, Robert Earley; four grandchildren, Lauren (Torey Greenwood) Earley, Erin Earley, Jeremy Heath, Joshua Heath; two great grandchildren, Emmett Greenwood, Cedar Greenwood; and sister-in-law, Joyce Earley.

Mr. Earley was preceded in death by his brother, Donald Earley.

Visitation will take place at the Bannan Funeral Home on Thursday from 2 to 8 p.m. with military honors by VFW Alpena Post 2496 at 5 p.m. Visitation will continue at the Ossineke United Methodist Church on Friday from 10 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Reeve Segrest officiating.
