Mona Gail Thiem, 75, of Herron, passed away Sunday, Aug. 25, 2024, at her home.
Mona Gail Wriston was born June 23, 1949, in Oak Hill, W.V., to the late Herman and Vida (Bragg) Wriston. On June 5, 1999, she married Stanley Thiem. Mona worked at Lasting Expressions.
Surviving are her husband, Stanley; daughter, Laura (Eric) Hoose; stepson, Stan Thiem; three grandchildren, Joey (Michelle) Ritthaler, Samantha Wheeler, Jesse (Amber) Ritthaler; 10 great-grandchildren; sister-in-law, Michelle Wriston; and several nieces and nephews.
Mona was preceded in death by her siblings, Charles Wriston, Sandra Hall, and Alfred Wriston.
Visitation will take place Friday at Bannan Funeral Home from 11 a.m. until the funeral service at 1 p.m. with the Rev. Leslie Nye officiating.
Interment: Wolf Creek Cemetery
