BETTY JEAN HAUFF

Betty Jean Hauff, 88, of Alpena passed away Sunday, Aug. 4, 2024, at MyMichigan Medical Center – Alpena.

Betty Jean Noell was born June 30, 1936, in Pontiac, to the late Eugene and Cora (LaFave) Noell. On July 9, 1955, she married George Hauff at St. Anne Catholic Church. Betty worked at Kresges for 10 years as a clerk.

Surviving are her husband, George; three children, Jean (Dennis) Peirce, Joe (Wendy) Hauff, Tamara (John) Lemcool; five grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.

Betty was preceded in death by 10 siblings, Clarence Noell, Beatrice Dietz, Edna Tiers, Virginia Hovind, Gladys Collins, Edward Noell, Raymond Noell, Howard Noell, Earl LaFave, and Leonard Noell.

Memorial visitation will take place Friday at Bannan Funeral Home from 10 a.m. until the memorial service at noon with the Rev. John Shipman officiating.
