Terrence L. Anderson, 90, peacefully departed this earth to join his wife Donna in Heaven on Wednesday, July 3, 2024, at his centennial farm.
Terrence was born March 10, 1934, in Alpena to the late Lloyd and Leta (Bean) Anderson. He served in the United States Army. On Jan. 16, 1960, he married Donna Dubey. She preceded him in death on Dec. 4, 2020. Terrence retired from Lafarge in 1991 and enjoyed cattle farming most of his life. He was an active member of Alpena Antique Tractor & Steam Engine Club and his Class Reunion Committee. Terrence enjoyed his grandchildren's and great-grandchildren's sporting events, especially softball.
Surviving are his three children, Patrick (Missy) Anderson, Lori (David) Zeller, Steve (Diane) Anderson; nine grandchildren, Ryan, Crystal, Trisha, Eric, Sara, Samantha, Jamie, Brandi, Megan; eight great-grandchildren, Hailey, Lily, Blake, Adelynn, Tyrion, Hudson, Kash, Maverick, Blaze; sister-in-law, Carolyn Anderson; several nieces and nephews.
Mr. Anderson was preceded in death by three siblings, Jerome Anderson, Carl Anderson, and Sally Okhuysen.
Visitation will take place Tuesday at Bannan Funeral Home from 11 a.m. until the funeral service at 2 p.m. with the Rev. Leslie Nye officiating. Military honors will be accorded him by Alpena V.F.W. Post 2496.
