Patricia Ruth Kendziorski, 89, of Alpena, formerly of Danbury, Conn. passed away Tuesday, July 16, 2024, at Besser Senior Living Community.
Patricia Ruth Oliver was born in Cleveland, Ohio, on June 3, 1935, to the late John and Agnes (Ruth) Oliver and married Francis Kendziorski on Feb. 29, 1964. Before she married Frank she worked for NASA as a scientist. She was an active member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Danbury, Connecticut. While living in Danbury she taught and played the harp for 30 years for the Danbury Symphony Orchestra. She operated a Montessori School for preschoolers in their home for many years. They moved to Alpena to be closer to family and were members of All Saints Parish.
Surviving are her husband, Francis; two children, Abraham (Ann) Kendziorski, Beatrice (Dan) O'Shea; five grandchildren, Kara, Matthew, Mark, Talia, Charlotte; three siblings, Kathleen Roberts, Gerald (Carol) Oliver, Philip Oliver; sister-in-law, Lillian Oliver.
Mrs. Kendziorski was preceded in death by three brothers, John Oliver, William Oliver and Dennis Oliver.
Visitation will take place on Thursday at the Bannan Funeral Home from 3 to 7 p.m. with a parish prayer service at 6:30 p.m. Visitation will continue at St. Anne Church of All Saints Parish on Friday from 10 a.m. until the time of the Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Aloysius Okpala officiating.
