JOYCE ALICE WALLACE

Joyce Alice Wallace, 83, of Alpena, passed away Sunday, July 28, 2024, at Trinity Health in Muskegon.

Joyce Alice Stark was born Sept. 2, 1940, in Detroit, to the late Francis and Edna (Keegan) Stark. On Nov. 30, 1968, she married Keith Wallace. She was a member of All Saints Parish, Alpena Law Wives and Friends of the Library. Along with her friend Mary Sue Kingsbury, they were known as neighborhood ambassadors checking out the neighborhood on the golf cart. Joyce enjoyed traveling and spending time with family.

Surviving are her husband, Keith; daughter, Courtney (Steve) Biesiada; two grandchildren, Katie, Claire; three nieces, Janet (Roger) Shingler, Bonnie (David) Caswell, and Lori (Ed) Wojtowicz.

Joyce was preceded in death by her brother, Francis Stark Jr. and his wife Shirley.

Visitation will take place Friday at Bannan Funeral Home from 2 p.m. until the parish prayer service at 6:30 p.m. and continue Saturday at St. Anne Church of All Saints Parish from 11 a.m. until the Mass of Christian Burial at noon with the Rev. Tyler Bischoff officiating.

Interment: Holy Cross Cemetery
