Clyde Shuman, 63, of Ossineke, died Tuesday, July 16, 2024, at MyMichigan Medical Center - Alpena after an extended illness.
Clyde was born in Stockton, Calif., and graduated from the University of Chicago attended medical school in Belgium, and earned his law degree from St. John's University in New York City. He was an intellectual property litigation partner at the firm of Pearl Cohen at the time of his death.
Clyde was an avid reader, art lover, and was a staunch advocate for women's rights.
He was preceded in death by his long-time girlfriend, Deb Schuler in 2017. He is survived by his daughter, Anastasia Stodolski, his housemate, Carol Bobolts, sisters-in-laws, Lisa (Chuck) Schuler Belton, Ame (Tim) Schuler Hepburn, various nieces and nephews.
Cremation arrangements have been handled by the Bannan Funeral Home.
