Sandra Lee Garant, 77, formerly of Ossineke passed away, Oct. 18, 2023, in North Port, Florida at her home.
Sandra Lee Liske was born Feb. 9, 1946, in Alpena to the late Theodore and Esther (Kissau) Liske. On Dec. 24, 1983, she married Larry Garant. Their love of golf took them to many golf courses in Michigan and Florida. Family and friends enjoyed the many bonfires and sing-alongs in the backyard. Sandy's yard was always beautifully planted with flowers and veggies.
Surviving are her husband, Larry; son, Keith Cochrane; five grandchildren, Jeremiah, Danielle, Douglas, Derik, Dominic; daughter-in-law, Jennifer Cochrane; two sisters, Carol Bellmore, Betty Luty; brother-in-law, Gary Bandrow; and sister-in-law, Carole Liske.
Sandy was preceded in death by her daughter, Kim Marie; sister, Joyce Bandrow; and brother, Kenneth Liske.
A graveside service will take place Friday, June 21, 2024, at Sanborn Township Cemetery at 3 p.m. with the Rev. Thomas Orth officiating. Arrangements have been handled by the Bannan Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Friendship Room.
