Theresa Mary Krawczak, a beacon of love and selflessness, passed away peacefully on May 1, 2024, at the age of 90 in Alpena. Born on July 5, 1933, in Posen, she was the cherished daughter of the late John and Victoria Koseba. Theresa’s life was a testament to the power of nurturing and devotion, qualities she embodied until her last breath. In her hometown of Posen, Theresa grew up surrounded by the warmth of her family, including her sister Virginia Kuznicki. She carried the values of her upbringing throughout her life, spreading kindness and care to everyone she encountered. Theresa found her greatest joy in the role of a wife, mother and homemaker, creating a loving home for her sons, David, with his wife Julie, and Steve Krawczak. Her husband Chester preceded her in death on March 15, 2019. Theresa’s legacy includes her adored grandchildren, Abbie Krawczak with Justin Buvia, Ashley with Joshua Lefebvre, Drew Krawczak with Lexxis Klee, and Allison Krawczak with George Marlow. Each of them was touched by her grace and learned from her example of unconditional love. The light of her life extended to her great-grandchildren, Lucas and Emilia Lefebvre, who brought her immeasurable happiness. Her life was marked by a passion for the simple pleasures that bind a family together. Theresa was an avid gardener, her hands nurturing flowers and vegetables with the same tenderness she showed to her loved ones. Her skills with knitting and crocheting created countless treasures that will be cherished for generations. Music was the rhythm of her life, and she often found joy in the lively beats of polka, a reflection of her vibrant spirit. Theresa’s impact extended beyond her immediate family, as she was a beloved aunt to several nieces and nephews. Each of them carries a piece of her gentle guidance and affectionate nature.
Above all, Theresa will be remembered as the best Busha ever. Her grandchildren and great-grandchildren will recall the warmth of her embrace, the wisdom of her words, and the laughter that filled her home. She was the heart of every family gathering, her selfless nature ensuring that everyone felt welcomed and loved.
Family and friends will gather for a time of remembrance on Tuesday, May 7, from 11 a.m. until the time of the prayer service at noon at McWilliams Funeral Home.
