Beloved and devoted husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on Tuesday, May 28, 2024, in St. Charles after a courageous battle with cancer. Age 74 years.
Surviving besides his wife Mable are three children, Karen (Pete) Lewis, North Carolina; Michael Partyka, Saginaw; Joseph (Nicole LaDouce) Partyka, St. Charles; four grandchildren, Joe Partyka, Paul, Veronica and Patrick Lewis; his great-grandson and "little buddy", Joey; two siblings, Larry Partyka and Susan (Jack) Fobear; many nieces and nephews. Mike was preceded in death by his siblings, Rose (Gary) Moldenhauer, Robert Partyka, Thomas Partyka, Patricia Partyka, Elizabeth Partyka and Girard Partyka.
Funeral Liturgy will take place at 11 a.m. on Monday at St. John Paul II Catholic Church, 469 Shattuck Rd., Saginaw, Michigan. The Rev. Fr. Amal Raj Madanu will officiate. Honoring Mr. Partyka's wishes cremation will follow. Friends may visit at The Snow Funeral Home, 3775 N. Center Rd., (between Shattuck and McCarty), Saginaw, where the family will be present on Sunday from noon until 4 p.m. and on Monday at the church from 10 a.m. until the time of Mass. In lieu of flowers, those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorials to St. John Paul II Catholic Church.
