LAWRENCE MARVIN VILLEME

Lawrence Marvin Villeme, 80, of Alpena, passed away Tuesday, May 7, 2024, at Medilodge of Hillman.

Lawrence was born Aug. 27, 1943, in Capac, to the late Louis and Helen (Brown) Villeme. He served in the United States Air Force, Marine Corps, and Air National Guard. On Feb. 12, 1995, he married June Taylor. Lawrence was a member of DAV, VFW, Eagles, and American Legion. He enjoyed hunting and fishing.

Surviving are his wife, June; daughter, Sherice Villeme; four stepchildren, Lori (Roger) Bruski, Delynn Hoppe, Kari Beatty, Lisa Foust; son-in-law, Richard Hayward; 15 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and sister-in-law, Sally Villeme.

Lawrence was preceded in death by his son, Larry Benjermin Villeme; stepdaughter, Vicki Hayward; two brothers, Clifford Villeme and Donald Villeme.

Memorial visitation will take place Saturday, June 1, 2024, at Bannan Funeral Home from 10 a.m. until the memorial service at noon with the Rev. Herb Kitzman officiating. Military honors will be accorded him by Alpena V.F.W. Post 2496.
