PHYLLIS VEE SCHLAK

Phyllis Vee Schlak, 78, of Pontiac, passed away on April 24, 2024, at Lake Orion Nursing Center.

Phyllis Vee Creamer was born in Pontiac on Sept. 2, 1945, to the late Guy and Thema (Draper) Creamer and married Richard Schlak on April 15, 1967. He preceded her in death on April 20, 1985. She enjoyed watching the Detroit Tigers and Red Wings.

Surviving are her children, Annette (Ted) Davis, Tony Schlak, grandchildren, Dana (Mike) Wall, Benjamin Davis; great-grandson Charles; Richard’s family, Victoria (Bethel) Smith, Ervin (Lynn) Schlak, Marlene Perkins, Raymond (Sue) Schlak, Elizabeth (Steve) Smith; several nieces and nephews.

Phyllis was preceded in death by a brother, Doyal (Yvonne) Creamer; brothers-in-law, Roland Schlak, and George Perkins.

Visitation will take place at St. John Lutheran Church – Royston on Sunday from 2 to 8 p.m. and where the funeral service will take place on Monday at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Jason Mandley officiating. Arrangements are being handled by the Bannan Funeral Home.

Interment: Montmorency Township Cemetery
