LAURIE HOWARD

Laurie (Pelleran) Howard, 66, of Phoenix, Ariz., passed away on April 2, 2024. Born July 19, 1957, in Alpena, to the late Arthur and Ruth (Scheuner) Pelleran, Jr., Laurie was a 1975 graduate of Alpena High School. Surviving are her son Ryan (Kimberly) Howard, her sister Kathy (Ken) Mahoney, and brothers Rex (Katrina) Pelleran, Lee (Laura) Pelleran, and Van (Susan) Pelleran, and nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband Steve Howard, and her brother Kim Pelleran. A memorial service and inurnment are scheduled later in the month at the VA National Cemetery in Phoenix, Arizona. Her family’s suggested memorial is to early childhood reading programs at the Alpena-Montmorency-Alcona Educational Service District, 2118 U.S. 23 South, Alpena, MI 49707.
