DONALD WILLIAM LIPTAK

Donald William Liptak, 84, of Hubbard Lake, passed away on April 14, 2024, at his son’s home in Otisville.

Donald was born Dec. 18, 1939, in Detroit, to the late John and Elanore (Bauer) Liptak. On Nov. 1, 1991, he married Linda DesJardins. She preceded him in death on April 3, 2009. Donald was a member of St. Catherine Church, Knights of Columbus, and Spruce Eagles. He was an avid euchre player, enjoyed the casino, hunting, fishing, and cutting wood. Donald was a Budweiser enthusiast.

Surviving are his son, Donald (Brenda Wilds) Liptak; granddaughter, Samantha Liptak; companion for 13 years, Beatrice Kennedy and her family; and friend and caregiver, Fran Howay.

A private graveside service will take place. Arrangements have been handled by the Bannan Funeral Home.
