ROSALIE FLORENCE TURSKE

Rosalie Florence Turske, 93, of Alpena, passed away peacefully on March 19, 2024, at Medilodge of Alpena.

Rosalie Florence Diemond was born Jan. 31, 1931, in Alpena, to the late Robert and Florence (Kindt) Diemond. On June 2, 1952, she married Clarence Turske. He preceded her in death on Aug. 21, 2004. Rosalie was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church – Alpena. She enjoyed baking, cooking, gardening, trips to the casino, and spending time at the Sage Club. Rosalie will be remembered for having a great sense of humor and being the ultimate “people person”.

Surviving are her two sons, Scott (Sharon) Turske, Philip Turske; three grandchildren, Meghan, Kyle, Brian; and sister-in-law, Veronica Diemond.

Rosalie was preceded in death by infant son, Rockford; siblings, Theresa Stoppa, Joseph Diemond, and Richard Diemond.

Visitation will take place Sunday at Bannan Funeral Home from 2-8 p.m. and continue Monday at St. Paul Lutheran Church – Alpena from 10 a.m. until the funeral service at 11 a.m. with Rev. John Shipman officiating.
