RAYMOND HARRY PEPPER

Raymond Harry Pepper, 93, of Alpena, passed away on March 19, 2024, at MyMichigan Medical Center – Alpena.

Raymond was born on Jan. 8, 1931, in Royal Oak, to the late William and Helen (Bradley) Pepper. He served in the United States Army. On Aug. 23, 1952, he married Betty Lou Reichow. She preceded him in death on Dec. 2, 2019.

Surviving are his four children, Karen James, Ronald (Monica) Pepper, Gerald (Thananya) Pepper, Kathy Pepper; nine grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; sister, Joann Luke; several nieces and nephews.

Raymond was preceded in death by infant daughter, Linda; son, David Pepper; grandson, David; sister, Dorene Neusius; and brother, Donald Pepper.

Memorial visitation will take place on Saturday at Bannan Funeral Home from noon until the memorial service at 2 p.m. with the Rev. Arnie Kirschner officiating. Military honors will be accorded him by Alpena V.F.W. Post 2496.
