LANDEN ELIJAH MAROTTA

Landen Elijah Marotta, age 17, passed away unexpectedly at home on Feb. 29, 2024. Landen was born premature on April 28, 2006 and was a fighter from the start. He was born in Nashville, Tennessee.

He was an “old soul,” loving older cars and music. In fact, he was recently working to restore his 1985 Buick Riviera so he could take it to car shows. It was his pride and joy. He was passionate about the military and loved looking up tanks and old military vehicles. Landen also loved robotics, computers, and video games. He would often play online with friends. He had a love of animals, especially his cats and conures. Landen was exceptionally smart and loved learning everything he could about the things he was passionate about. He had a heart of gold and would help people less fortunate whenever he could.

He is survived by his mother, Melody Marotta, a brother, Dustin Marotta, a sister, Bryndell Marotta, his grandmas, Anna Mae Marotta and Carol LeBlanc, his father, Paul LeBlanc, aunts, Staci LeBlanc and Cindy Nevins, as well as his best friend, Cayden. He was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Robert Marotta and Ronald LeBlanc.

Family will receive friends for memorial visitation at Karpus Hunter and Ross Funeral Home on Saturday, March 16, 2024 from 11 a.m. until the time of service at 3 p.m. with Deacon Michael Roy officiating.
