IRMA JEAN SEGORSKI

Irma Jean Segorski, 95, of Alpen, passed away on March 23, 2024, at Touch of Country Care Home.

Irma Jean Connors was born in Curran on June 22, 1928, to the late William and Etta (Imlay) Connors. She married Walter Segorski on June 12, 1948, at First Baptist Church. He preceded her in death on Aug. 24, 2002. Irma retired from Wayne Wire, where she had worked for many years. In retirement, they enjoyed their pop-up camper for numerous years to South Higgins Lake Campground for family reunions and numerous trips including Nevada, California, Las Vegas, and Germany.

Surviving are five children, Ann (Jack) Atherton, Judy Gleason, Diane (Michael) Roy, Janet (Vern Chontos) Leistico; Gary Segorski; eight grandchildren, Laura Jeff) Bonilla, Susanna (Marshal Zanchettin) Atherton, Heather Gleason, Kristi (Leif) Isaac, Kimberly (Stuart) Adams, Kelli (Ben) Witter, Jessica Morriss, Daniel Rannow; 12 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Doris Segorski, Mary Detloff; several nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Segorski was preceded in death by son-in-law, Robert Gleason; grandchildren, Tonia LaPine, Brian Glazier; brothers, Grant Connors, Peter Connors, and William Connors.

Memorial visitation will take place at the Bannan Funeral Home on Tuesday, April 2, 2024, from 1 p.m. until the time of the memorial service at 3 p.m. with Deacon Michael Roy officiating.
