SANDRA JOY KOENIG

Sandra Joy Koenig, 68, of Alpena, passed away on Jan. 31, 2024, at MyMichigan Medical Center – Midland.

Sandra was born July 7, 1955, in Alpena to the late Herman and Esther (Zarske) Koenig. She worked in banking for 37 years, retiring in 2014. Sandra was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church, loved to read, and enjoyed spending time with family.

Surviving are her three siblings, Claudia (Darwin) Grabow, Linda Koenig, Fred (Delynn) Koenig; nephew, Matthew Grabow; niece, Amanda (Doug) Repke; great nieces and nephews, Evan Repke and Amelia Repke.

Visitation will take place Monday at Immanuel Lutheran Church from 10 a.m. until the funeral service at noon with the Rev. Joshua Schultz officiating. Arrangements have been handled by the Bannan Funeral Home.

Interment: Montmorency Township Cemetery
