Karen Ann Kleve, 58, of Alpena, passed away on Feb. 6, 2024, at MyMichigan Medical Center - Alpena as the result of an automobile accident.
Karen was born in Alpena on Nov. 26, 1965, to the late Walter and Nora (Liske) Kleve. She graduated from Alpena High School, received her associate's degree from Alpena Community College in graphic arts, and was trained as a locksmith. She worked as a bus driver for Alpena Public Schools and recently Thunder Bay Transit Authority. She enjoyed doing crafts, playing pool, throwing horseshoes, and was a master Euchre player. Karen was a member of Tripoint Church of God.
Surviving are her three children, Jesse Di-Silvestri, Tristan Kleve, Savannah Kleve; four siblings, Walter (Kari) Kleve, Arlene (Kevin Austin) Lizotte, Jean (Allen) Matuzak, Edward Kleve; seven nieces and nephews, Jennifer, Caroline, William, Ayla, Megan, Kaylee, Marissa; five great-nieces and nephews.
Karen was preceded in death by a great-niece, McKenna.
Visitation will take place on Monday at the Bannan Funeral Home from 2 to 8 p.m. and will continue on Tuesday at Tripoint Church of God from 10 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 11 a.m. with Pastor Mike Potter officiating.
Interment: Hubbard Lake Cemetery
