Barbara Ann Linton, 81, went home to her Lord and Savior on Feb 19, 2024.
Barbara Ann Nye was born Sept. 13, 1942, in Westland to the late James and Eva (Wilson) Nye. On Feb. 13, 1960, she married Ronald Linton. Barbara was a member of Huron Shores Fellowship Church. She was a master seamstress, making all of her daughter's wedding and bridesmaids' dresses.
A wonderful wife to her doting husband and loving mom to their five daughters: Barbara (William) Seres, Deborah (Donald) Senia, Sarah (Todrey) Rogers, Laura (Timothy) Fogarty, and Rebekah (Tony) Allen.
A loving grandmother to her 14 grandchildren: Jessica (Joel), Jack, Lauren, Olivia (Ryan), Taylor (Brad), Joshua, Jeremy, Justine, Jacob (Britney), Luke (Renae), Tyler (Chrissy), Logan, Johnathon (Nicole), and Dana.
The sweetest great-grandma to her 21 great-grandchildren: Emma, Amelia, Mason, Olive, Louie, Noah, Wyatt, Grayson, Keeley, Kayden, Beau, Brynlee, Hadley, Willah, Ben, Jack, Rhilyn, Holden, Graham, Hudson, and Ryden.
Surviving is her sister, Carol; brothers, Frank, John, and Joe.
Barbara was preceded in death by her infant son, John R. Linton; siblings, Dorothy, Jim, Bill, Gene, Charlie, and infant Gloria.
She loved her family and her Savior Jesus Christ. She is already missed, but we are thankful we will see her again.
Visitation will take place Sunday at Bannan Funeral Home from 2 to 8 p.m. and continue Monday at Huron Shores Fellowship Church from 10 a.m. until the funeral service at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Warren Hoffman officiating.
