RICHARD JAMES CORNELIUS

Richard “Dick” James Cornelius, 77, of Hubbard Lake, passed into the hands of God unexpectedly at Midland Hospital on Jan. 11, 2024.

Richard was born at Bay City Hospital and raised in Hubbard Lake. He went on to graduate from Alcona High School in 1965. He married the love of his life Patricia (Walls) Cornelius. He also started working at Ossineke Industries in 1973 and gave them 50 years of his life. His family called it his second home. Richard and Pat were also very active in their church, Huron Shores Community Church.

He was preceded in death by his mother Eunice (Hawkins) Cornelius and father Stanley Paul Cornelius.

He is survived by his wife Patricia, son Chad Cornelius, and daughter Chonda Geddert.

At this time, the family has chosen to have a memorial for everyone in the spring. The date and place will be put into the paper and on the I Love Hubbard Lake Facebook page when the time comes.
