RACHEL DIANE GLESEN

Rachel Diane Glesen, 26, of Hubbard Lake, passed away in Midland on Dec. 21, 2023.

She was born July 3, 1997 in Alpena to Marvin Delekta and Wendy Glesen.

Rachel graduated from Gaylord High School. She attended Ferris State University then began her career as a Quality Lab Technician at Holcim Alpena Cement Plant (LaFarge). Rachel enjoyed camping, large family gatherings, crocheting, canning and playing with her cat.

She is survived by her father, Marvin (Ann) Delekta of Metz; brothers, Tom (Jessica) Peacock of Harbor Springs and Jared (Abby) Delekta of Salt Lake City; grandparents, Paul (Paulette) Glesen of Sterling Heights; significant other, Dwayne Wogaman of Hubbard Lake; niece, Zoie Peacock and nephew, Carter Peacock.

Rachel was preceded in death by her mother, Wendy Tompkins; grandparents, Leon (Bertha) Delekta and Chuck (Diane) Belanger.

Friends may visit at the Beck Funeral Home on Wednesday from 4 to 8 p.m. with the Rosary at 6:30 followed by the Parish Wake Service at 7 p.m. Visitation will resume at St. Dominic Catholic Church on Thursday from 10 a.m. until time of Mass at 11 a.m. with Fr. Charlie Donajkowski officiating.

Inurnment will take place at Ocqueoc Township Cemetery.

Memorials may be given to Huron Humane Society or Friends Together of Alpena.
